[Notes] Vitae Nocturnus: Disciplines

Universal

These disciplines are open to any and all vampires, they are not clan restricted. Some Vampires never learn any of the Universal disciplines but are worse off for it. Many of these disciplines are what make Vampires in mythology, as they are the most common.

Auspex

Supernatural Senses and Perception. (Drawing From: Auspex)

Heightened Senses : Spend 1V to add Blood Skill to Investigation for a scene.

The Mind Revealed (Requires Heightened Senses) : Spend 2V and the character can use Blood Skill to hear what people around you are thinking.

Clairvoyance (Requires Heightened Senses and The Mind Revealed) : By spending 4V points the character can roll Blood Skill instead of Investigation while remote from the scene.

Celerity

Supernatural Speed and Agility. (Drawing From: Celerity and Praestantia.)

Mercury’s Arrow : Spend 1V to add Blood Skill to the characters Athletics for a scene.

Zephyr (Requires Mercury’s Arrow) : Spend 2V to move 1 extra Zone or 2 extra zones on an Sprint Action, or outside of combat to reduce travel time by half.

Sanguinary Wind (Requires Mercury’s Arrow and Zephyr) : Spend 4V to go first in a Physical or Social Conflict for the next two scenes.

Fortitude

Supernatural Endurance and Resistance. (Drawing From: Resilience, Fortitude, and Nahdad.)

Corpse Flesh : Spend 1V to add Blood Skill to the characters Endurance for the scene.

Resist The Ash (Corpse Flesh) : Spend 2V and gain two extra Stress Boxes for the scene.

Resist The Stake (Requires Corpse Flesh and Resist The Ash) : Spend 4V and reduce the Stress Damage of Melee weapons to zero.

Potence

Supernatural Physical Strength and Power. (Drawing From: Potence and Vigor.)

Vigor : Spend 1V to add Blood Skill to the characters Might for the Scene.

Physical Prowess (Requires Vigor) : Spend 2V and the character is able to lift or throw twice his normal Weight factor for the scene.

Strength of Ten (Requires Vigor and Physical Prowess) : Spend 4V and the character can use any object with a Weight Factor 4 or less as a weapon without penalty.

Obfuscation

Supernatural Invisibility and Stealth. (Drawing From: Obfuscate and Obteneration)

Walk The Oubliette : Spend 1V to add Blood Skill to the characters Stealth for the scene.

Without Sound (Requires Walk The Oubliette) : Spend 2V and the character is able to walk, move, and move things without creating sound.

Blissful Ignorance (Requires Without Sound and Walk The Oubliette) : Spend 4V and the character is suddenly unnoticed by everyone who looks at the character.

Presence

Supernatural Charm and Attraction. (Drawing From: Presence.)

Entrancement : Spend 1V and add Blood Skill to the characters Rapport for the scene.

Revelation (Requires Entrancement) : Spend 2V and a target character or minion will reveal a secret, within context of the scene, to you.

Love (Requires Revelation and Entrancement) : Spend 4V and any time someone moves to strike you in a conflict, Physical or Social, they must succeed at a Resolve check versus your Blood Skill

Dark Arts

Witch like abilities, from changing peoples luck to shape shifting into snakes or bats. Hexes and curses. (Drawing From: Animalism, Serpentis, Serpentis, Striga, Amphivena, Melpominee, and Zagovny.)

Masca : Spend 1V and drink the blood of a snake or bat to gain their likeness and add Blood Skill to Alertness.

Hex (Requires Masca) : Spend 2V and the next roll of a target subtracts Blood Skill.

Drawing Out the Beast (Requires Masca and Hex) : Spend 4V and change into a larger than man bat or snake and add your Blood Skill to Might (for constricting, biting, or wing slamming) and Intimidation.

Clan

These disciplines are specific to individual clans. No other clans can learn them or start with them. However through Diablarizaiton one can gain the power.

Daemon Laurels

Imp Pact: Minor flame damage on bite.

Demon Pact: Medium flame damage, avoidable intimidating

Devil Pact: Ranged medium unavoidable.

Dominate

Suggest: Target roll to do something else.

Influence: Have person do something else.

Demand: Control person for scene.

Thaumaturgy

Leech: Heal target with vitae.

Bleed With Me: Take stress to deal stress remotely.

Kiss of Vitae: Create minions of blood.

Necromortis

Speaker of the Dead: Dead body speaks to you.

Zombie: Dead thing rises, fights for you. Weak.

Golem: Large pieced together dead thing fights for you. Strong.

Night Terrors

Hypnagogia: Enter into peoples dreams.

Weave The Dreams Tale: Change or alter memories while sleeping.

Deep Insomnium: Turn the sleeper insane with nightmares.

Phagia

Pound of Flesh: Eat flesh for Vitae.

Gorge: Hold addition Vitae beyond your limit.

Puissance of the Flesh: Temporarly gain the highest skill of the person you bite in combat.

Cachexy

Sheath Of Filth: Become covered in a drug, gives contact high.

Shared Infection: Give any virus or disease to a person bitten.

Sudden Scourge: Target infected rapidly induces the last stages of the disease.

Humanitia

Incite The Masses: Target becomes angry, sad, or fearful.

Beacon Of Blood: People come to you.

Living God: Group become an angry mob under your control.
